Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert is taking legal action against Norwich City.

The Sun says Lambert is suing Norwich for £2million - claiming unfair dismissal.

The Scot resigned on May 31 so he could take over at Aston Villa.

Norwich rejected it and demanded compensation from Villa, which has still to be decided by a tribunal.

Canaries chairman Alan Bowkett said: "Lambert's departure was no surprise because he has walked out on every club he's managed."
