Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert says Jores Okore will be fit for preseason.

Lambert revealed Okore was back on the training pitch before the end of the last campaign and is expected to be ready for the next.

"Jores trained towards of the season for a couple of weeks and was doing great," Lambert said. "He'll probably need fitness like anybody else because he's been out a long time."
