Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert hailed goalscorer Alan Hutton after victory over Leicester City.
The 30-year-old Scottish international had not kicked a ball in a competitive game for Lambert before his shock recall and contract extension this season.
"I'm delighted for Alan because I think he's playing as well as any right back in the country at the moment, Alan," said Lambert.
"It was a brilliant goal, he gives you that strength there, he's up and down, a really really fit lad. He's a really good footballer as well.
"He's scored one goal in four years, but I hope he gets another one next week! I'm really pleased for him."
