Villa boss Lambert happy to "live or die" over Bent axing

Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert admits he's "live or die" by his freezing out of Darren Bent.

For victory over Reading, Christian Benteke headed home the Villans' first goal in FIVE HOURS to nick all three points.

Boss Lambert said: "The most important thing is Aston Villa, not individuals. I pick a team as honestly and openly as I can. I think the decision was the right one. You can't please everyone all the time.

"That's the game - you live or die by your decisions. They're big decisions."
