Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert is confident keeping hold of strikers Christian Benteke and Andi Weimann.
Lambert argues it would be madness to keep dismantling something they're trying to build.
He said: "I think they will both be here next season and I have spoken to the lads about that. They have both been great with it.
"There is no point trying to build something if it keeps going away - no point if you get lads in and after one year of them doing well they go away again. I don't think that is building for any sort of future.
"When I first came in here we sat down with the owner and explained what I thought about the way to go. Randy was right behind what I wanted, no problem at all, and he has been excellent with us.
"I don't want to go back to square one. These are only young guys in their early 20s, they still have so much to learn and so much to prove. That is what you want - to work with guys to keep them progressing."
