Aston Villa boss Gerard Houllier says squad rotation is a must.

He has been in conflict with several players already and says that rotation has to be expected.

"We need to ensure with Blackburn, Manchester United and Fulham ahead of us that we are really fit and focused. Many, many clubs now do it. Players find it difficult to accept but everyone contributes to success.

"The team is not 11 players and 11 others sulking on the bench. It's good to know that they are all able to contribute."
