Andi Weimann hailed Aston Villa teammate Jordan Bowery after victory over Hull City.
Bowery came off the bench to help influence the result.
Weimann told Villa's website: "The second goal was brilliant work from Jordan.
"He was unbelievable when he came on for Gabby. He did really well down the left and put a beautiful cross in.
"I managed to get in front of the defender and flick it in with my head.
"Jordan came on and was probably the man of the match.
"He ran everywhere and held the ball up for us. He set the goal up and did brilliant."
