Aston Villa and Manchester United fans face travel problems ahead of tonight's game after the M6 was closed in both directions.
Police said Junctions Six (Villa exit) and Seven of the motorway in Birmingham will be shut until 10pm after a lorry crossed the carriageway and hit a pick-up truck and several cars.
Manchester United wrote on Twitter that fans travelling from the North West should "consider alternative routes."
