Adelaide United coach Aurelio Vidmar has praised the professionalism of Socceroos boss Pim Verbeek.
Vidmar is currently in camp with the Socceroos in a guest coaching role that he is very grateful for and is relishing his time working with the Dutchman.
"I appreciate the opportunity. It is fantastic that Pim is open to it," said Vidmar.
"There's probably a lot of coaches out there that wouldn't want something like this to happen, especially with an important game on Wednesday night.
"Pim has been extremely open with me as to what they are going to do against Uzbekistan and why they are going to it.
"It's been interesting watching them work and getting to this point.
"Pim tells it like it is and I think he has a great relationship with all the coaches in the A-League."
Vidmar hopes his experience with the national team can be taken back to his club.
"To me it was about being here, getting some development and seeing how they work at the highest level with the national teams," added Vidmar.
"It just makes you want to lift your benchmarks a lot higher."
