Vidmar happy to see Adelaide Utd top of table

The Reds skipper rounded the Glory defence before slotting it past ‘keeper Frank Juric in the 41st minute which was enough to take all three points and sees them atop of the A-League table.

Reds coach Aurelio Vidmar was generally satisfied with his team's performance but pointed out that there was still some work to do.

"I think we were a little bit rusty at times in the first half but in the second half I thought we got a little bit more cohesion, so I'm really pleased with the way they finished off the game.

"There is still a lot of football to be played but winning tonight was a real positive and not conceding a goal again, that was very pleasing."

The Reds face Queensland Roar in Brisbane next week while the Glory will host Newcastle Jets.
