Derby County have signed Manchester City youngster Javan Vidal on loan until the end of the season. The 20-year-old England youth international can operate at right-back or on the right-hand side of midfield.

Derby boss Nigel Clough told his club's official website: "Javan is a very talented young player and we are grateful to City for allowing him to come here."

Clough added: "It gives us quality cover in a couple of positions and we believe he will fit right in with the mentality and culture we are looking to introduce to our squad."
