Victor Valdes is returning to Barcelona.

Sport says the former Blaugrana No1 has decided to take this step and accept the proposal that president Joan Laporta made him in March to be a goalkeeper coach at La Masia.

It was proposal that Valdés did not accept at first, since his intention was to coach a lower division football team.

But in the end he gave that up as he wanted to return to Barca.

Valdes was Juvenil A coach at Barca in 2019, but resigned after just months after falling out with academy chief Patrick Kluivert.
