Juan Veron admits Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi has surprised him.

Veron, a former Inter midfielder, played with Inzaghi at Lazio.

He told RAI 2: "It was a surprise, he had a very important evolution.

"He had an evolution in character and in leading a squad, which for me is even more important. Then he gave a strong identity to the team."

Inter meet Lecce later on Sunday.
