Venezia coach Paolo Vanoli has recalled working as Antonio Conte's No2 at Chelsea.
Vanoli admits he particularly enjoyed working with Cesc Fabregas, now of Como.
He said, "I was honoured and had the good fortune to coach him, the honour is all mine, we're talking about a champion who has won a lot, has a winning mentality and when I arrived at Chelsea in general, everyone in particular the Spaniards impressed me with their mentality, they had an impressive technical and mental quality.
"I will always remember him because when I arrived he didn't play much, but every training session, despite his name being Fabregas, he wanted to prove to the coach that he was wrong to leave him out.
"Conte never left him out after that."
