Former Chelsea striker Terry Venables feels his old club will fall short in the Champions League.
If Chelsea get past Benfica in the quarterfinals, they face a likely match up with Barcelona in the semis.
"It would be a remarkable end to a turbulent season at Stamford Bridge where it is fair to say things have not exactly gone as planned.
"I am sure that spirit will see them through against Benfica in the next round, too, but I do not think it will be enough against a Barcelona side I expect to see waiting for them in the semis after they beat AC Milan."El Tel wrote in The Sun: "I would love to see my first club and the Premier League's sole survivors in Europe make it all the way to the final in Munich in May.
