The agent of Sporting Lisbon midfielder Miguel Veloso has confirmed the interest of AC Milan.

"I can confirm that Milan are interested in Miguel Veloso and have been for some time, so we are not surprised by the renewed bid," commented agent Paulo Barbosa on Teleradiostereo.

"The rescission clause is set at £20m, but after Euro 2008 the clubs can sit down around a table to negotiate. Right now Miguel is focused on the European Championship."
