Vancouver Whitecaps’ Salgado excited about Fulham opportunity

Omar Salgado is eager to do well whilst on trial with English Premier League club Fulham.

The 18-year old Vancouver Whitecaps forward has begun training with the Cottagers after arriving in London on Wednesday and is very excited about the opportunity.

"It will be an excellent experience," Salgado told the club’s official website.

"It is always good to be able to train with different teams and experience different styles and environments.

“Opportunities like this help me grow as a player and a person."

Salgado, who had a similar stint with Everton prior to being picked up by the Whitecaps, will link up with fellow Texan Clint Dempsey at Fulham.
