Departing Middlesbrough midfielder Barry Robson has made it clear that he will still make himself available for Scotland selection.
The 33-year old will join MLS outfit Vancouver Whitecaps next month but says the travel to get back to Europe for internationals with the Scotland team will not bother him.
"To go out and play at Hampden when the fans are singing Flower of Scotland - you are going to travel from anywhere.
"For that feeling, just to play for your country, it doesn't matter where you are, of course you want to play.
"If I was playing well over there, I would like to have a chance of playing for my country.
"I still think I can. I managed to play quite well last season in the Championship and picked up a player-of-the-year award (for Boro).
"So it doesn't mean I am finished by any manner of means, I am still here and available.""I am still available, of course I am," said Robson.
