Sporting Lisbon striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel hopes his move to Norwich City increases his chances of adding to his sole Holland cap.

Van Wolfswinkel has one cap for Holland, won in August 2010, and catching the eye of national coach Louis van Gaal is a motivation behind the switch to Norwich.

"That is always my aim," he said. "For me it is important to be in a team where I can play every week. I want to play as high as possible, but also in a team where there is a lot of perspective - that is what Norwich City has, and that is why I have signed there for four years."
