Hamburg striker Ruud van Nistelrooy is backing Romelu Lukaku for big things.

The Anderlecht youngster is a target for Premiership clubs, including Chelsea, Sunderland, Arsenal and Aston Villa.

Van Nistelrooy said: "I last saw him taking off his shirt. Well, when I was sixteen, I had no muscles. I saw him against Ajax. He was strong and good. He can do something at his age, in Europe and with Anderlecht. That's great!

"For Belgian football, for their entire football, he is a good thing.
