Marco van Ginkel admits Chelsea have earmarked him to eventually succeed Frank Lampard as the club's No1 midfielder. The young Dutchman has been a revelation since his summer arrival from Vitesse Arnhem.
"At Chelsea they say to me: this is the last year of Frank Lampard and for his succession, we have plans for you," revealed Van Ginkel.
"For now I get plenty of playing time, so I'm pleased."
