Louis van Gaal was willing to walk from Manchester United for nothing, it has been revealed.
The Times says United supremo Ed Woodward told the Dutchman his services were no longer required in person and at Van Gaal's home. It's claimed the experienced boss was shocked and disappointed by the news - especially because of United's FA Cup victory on Saturday.
The experienced boss has waived his right to compensation deals in the past.
And it's reported he was willing to do the same at United.
But the former Barcelona and Ajax chief is fuming about how his exit was handled and he's demanded the full payoff.
