Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal says he is looking to form the best football team in the world.
The Dutchman had a difficult beginning to life at Old Trafford after taking the reins in the summer but is now focused on placing the very best players in red shirts as he seeks world domination.
"My ambition is that I have the best players who can collaborate with each other to form the best team in the world," van Gaal said.
United spent around £155million on the likes of Angel Di Maria, Daley Blind, Radamel Falcao (on loan from Monaco), Luke Shaw and Marcos Rojo in the summer transfer window and from van Gaal's comments, it appears as though the club will look to open the checkbook even wider in the near future.
