Former Real Madrid and Ajax midfielder Rafael van der Vaart can't see Matthijs de Ligt moving to Barcelona.

Instead, Van der Vaart believes the Ajax defender will join Bayern Munich.

"Bayern have to get De Ligt, definitely a player for them," he said. "I would recommend him going there.

"He is only nineteen years old and has the charisma and confidence of a thirty-year-old player, performs well in interviews and behaves sober and mature, does not dwell when he makes a mistake and goes forward."
