Former Tottenham and Ajax star Rafael Van der Vaart says Spurs should move for Hakim Ziyech.

Van der Vaart sees the Ajax midfielder as a replacement for Christian Eriksen.

"I hope Ziyech goes to Tottenham and I think it will happen," he said.

"I talked to (chairman Daniel) Levy and said: 'Sign Ziyech after this season'. I am convinced that he would cause a sensation in London."

The last price referenced over a possible transfer of Ziyech is €30m - which Ajax asked for last summer.
