Tottenham ace Rafael van der Vaart has hailed teammate Scott Parker after he was today named England captain.
The Spurs midfielder will lead the Three Lions into battle against Holland at Wembley tonight and although van der Vaart has had to withdraw from the Dutch squad because of injury, he was quick to congratulate his mate on the achievement.
"Congrats to my teammate Scott Parker on becoming England's captain for tonight's game against Holland. Sure he's proud! #honour," van der Vaart posted on Twitter.
