Belgian hero Leo van der Elst says Chelsea ace Eden Hazard showed up Neymar on Friday night.

Hazard was outstanding for Belgium's World Cup quarterfinal victory over France.

"If Neymar cost 222 million, Hazard is worth double," Van der Elst told Sporza. "With all due respect for the great footballer who is Neymar, but at this World Cup he has not shown that he is worth his price tag."

He continued: "Hazard in turn played a great game.

"I read the statistics this morning and he deserves ten out of ten. Hazard is very difficult to switch off and his dribbles were always directional. Give me Hazard instead of Neymar."
