Sepp van den Berg says he is still dreaming of playing for Liverpool.

The 19-year-old enjoyed a successful loan spell with Preston North End after joining the Championship club in January.

It is unclear where van den Berg's future lies, but the Dutchman is focused on making it at Anfield.

"It's been a hard season for Liverpool but hopefully when I go back to Liverpool, I'll get a chance as well and be able to play then," he told the Liverpool Echo.

"I'm still 19 so there is really no rush for me. My dream is to be able to play for Liverpool.

"I signed for five years when I came. I will have three years left in the summer. There is plenty of time for me.

"It's my dream to play for Liverpool. That is all I think about in the long term, there is nothing else I think about."
