Van De Beek not frozen out at Man Utd - but Solskjaer demanding more

Donny van Beek is not 'frozen out' at Manchester United but manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to see more signs of improvement from him, according to reports.

The Dutchman held crunch talks with Solskjaer in the summer and was promised plenty of playing time this season.

However, van de Beek remains on the periphery at Old Trafford having been overlooked a number of times by his coach.

Solskjaer is demanding more from the 24-year-old and insists he won't get regular playing time until he improves, per MEN.

Van de Beek had a touchline tantrum during the closing stages of the midweek Champions League win over Villarreal, tossing his training bib and chewing gum when it became clear he would not be used as a substitute.

Everton tried to sign the former Ajax man last summer, and director Marcel Brands this week refused to rule out a January move for his compatriot.
