Real Valladolid goalkeeper Sergio Asenjo rejected a move to Tottenham in the summer, it has been revealed.
AS says Tottenham were willing to pay the buyout clause of Asenjo's deal, with coach Juande Ramos personally leading the negotiations.
But Asenjo rejected the approach as he wasn't interested in playing second fiddle to Heurelho Gomes.
