Valladolid chief Gomez admits offers arriving for Man Utd, Real Madrid target Salisu

Real Valladolid chief Miguel Angel Gomez admits they're prepared to sell Mohammed Salisu this summer.

The young Ghanaian defender is being linked with Manchester United, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid this week.

Gomez said, "We want the player to continue here and we are fighting for it, but if for whatever reason he decides to go out to another beautiful project, the club will refer to the clause, which is what we are doing with the teams that have asked.

"The offers are from Spain and abroad and there are clubs that are close to paying the clause, but try to make payment methods more flexible, there are very interested clubs in the Premier League, in France two, in Italy three and in Spain really one, there are already very concrete things."

Asked about claims of Real Madrid having first refusal on Salisu, Gomez insisted: "There is no priority from Real Madrid for Mohammed Salisu, there are interested clubs who have already gone through more than mere interest.

"Offers have come for Salisu and there are more decisions of the board of directors, but there is no preferential option for any team."

Salisu's contract carries a €12m buyout clause.
