Manchester United winger Antonio Valencia has welcomed their new signings.

New signings Shinji Kagawa and Nick Powell will add to the competition for places around the midfield and attack but Valencia has welcomed their arrival.

"It is motivation for all players as they are young players who have obviously done well in their careers," he told MUTV.

"It is why they are now at Manchester United. When new players come, it motivates the whole team so I'm sure we can give our maximum and do our best to support them."
