Valencia have snapped up Tottenham midfielder Dag Alexander Olsen.

The 19 year-old Norwegian is moving to Valencia for a nominal fee, which was confirmed by Dad, Dag Erland Olsen, yesterday.

Olsen joined Spurs over two years ago from Norway's Gjøvik/Lyn, choosing the Londoners ahead of Valencia, which had kept tabs on his progress leading up to their capture last week.

"His contract with Tottenham would have expired next summer, and when Valencia offered four and a half years, it was a simple decision to make," Erland told VG.
