Valencia are interested in Getafe midfielder Dani Parejo.
The former QPR playmaker has been in superb form for Getafe this season.
Parejo is expected to be re-signed by Real Madrid in the summer, though no deal has yet been agreed.
Valencia are keeping tabs on developments and money has been put aside to buy Parejo should Real choose not to take up their buy-back option.
