Valencia have joined the race for Rubin Kazan star Chori Domínguez.

The Argentine comes off contract at the turn of the year and is keen on a move to Sapin.

AS says Valencia president Manuel Llorente has personally spoken with Dominguez's minders about a January move to the Mestalla.

Despite Chori not carrying a price-tag, Valencia could still find themselves out-bid by rivals. The Argentine is seeking €2 million-a-year, while Valencia will not go higher than their new cap of €1.5 million-a-year for new signings.
