Chelsea are launching a bid for Valencia playmaker Juan Mata.
Marca says Chelsea are willing to splash out €30 million for the Spain international.
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich feels the arrival of Mata would bring the best out of misfiring £50 million striker Fernando Torres.
For the moment, Valencia have not received any offer from Chelsea for their star man, but are no position to reject any sort of major bid for the midfielder.
