Valencia will face AZ Alkmaar in a friendly match on Thursday, December 22nd.

The game will be played at the Ciudad Deportiva during LaLiga's break for the 2022 World Cup.

Valencia have already faced the Dutch club on two previous occasions, both in the 2011/12 season. The paths of the two teams crossed in the quarterfinals of the Europa League. Valencia CF lost the first leg in the Netherlands 2-1, but came back to win 4-0 at Mestalla.

The game joins the match against Nottingham Forest on Friday, December 16 at Mestalla on the schedule of friendlies during the international break.
