Valencia ace Villa to keep Chelsea, Man Utd waiting

Valencia striker David Villa says he won't make a move away until after the World Cup.

The 28-year-old has knocked back the suggestion that he will be on the move before travelling to South Africa with Spain, refusing to even discuss a possible transfer.

In a press conference on Wednesday, Villa said: "I am not going to answer any questions that are not about football. I am only thinking about the World Cup in June, I didn't get involved in any transfer talk last year, and this year even less so."

Villa has continued to bang in the goals this season, scoring 18 in 25 appearances for Valencia in the Primera Liga and Europa League.

With Barcelona and Real Madrid thought to be unlikely to renew their interest, a host of English clubs have been linked with his signature, including Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and Manchester City.
