Manchester United enjoyed a 2-1 win over Chelsea U21s yesterday.
United fielded Victor Valdes, Rafael and Ashley Young in a strong line-up.
There seemed little hope of victory when Chelsea led through Dominic Solanke and looked likely to extend their advantage but Andreas Pereira inspired the Reds' comeback with a deflected free-kick followed by another set-piece that was headed in by skipper Tom Thorpe.
Nick Powell also was handed a full 90 by United coach Warren Joyce.
