Unsworth to continue as Everton manager for Crystal Palace trip

Everton's search for a new manager looks set to drag on as David Unsworth will once again take charge of the club for their match against Crystal Palace this weekend.

Unsworth has been in temporary charge of the Toffees since they parted ways with Ronald Koeman following their 5-2 defeat against Arsenal last month.

They have so far managed to win one out of their four games played thus far under Unsworth, who is manager of the clubs under-23's side.

Initially Unsworth was expected to get four games in order to prove his credentials and stake his claim to be appointed as the clubs manager on a permanent basis.

However, the performances of the Merseysiders under him have so far not been impressive.

Unsworth will continue to act in charge on a temporary basis after Sam Allardyce has ruled himself out of the running while Watford do not want to part ways with Marco Silva.
