Tottenham's want-away goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes wants to stay in the Premier League.
Gomes is ready to quit Spurs in January.
He told the People: "It is very hard to keep driving yourself on when you are not in the team. I have never been in a situation like this before.
"I think they signed Friedel to be No.2 because the people around the club said that was the case. So I was relaxed about the situation. I thought I'd be playing the first game against Manchester United - but it didn't happen. That's why I'm frustrated now, I thought I would remain as No.1 this season.
"I need to think about a new club because I want to play for Brazil again. To do that I need regular games and at Tottenham that is not possible.
"I would like to stay in the Premier League. My kids and wife love it here in England and I think I can earn other teams points in the same way I have for Tottenham."
