Aberdeen's contract rebels have been warned the club won't break the bank to keep them, reports the Daily Record. The Dons football director Willie Miller insists Charlie Mulgrew, Lee Miller, Gary McDonald, Richard Foster and Mark Kerr - who will be free agents in the summer - have been made their final offers.
Miller said: "We have offered an improved deal to Mulgrew because we want him to stay.
"Dundee are perfectly within their rights to make approaches for players out of contract in the summer when the transfer window opens.
"There is nothing Aberdeen can do about this because we are entitled to do the same.
"We have offered Mulgrew a very good deal in an attempt to get him to remain at the club. If he wants to stay then hopefully he will sign that deal and if he was to do so we would be absolutely delighted.
"But if he decides not to then it is up to him to negotiate an offer with another club. If that becomes the case we will find a replacement as we have done for other players in the past. That's the nature of football."
