UK Olympic hero Mo Farah eyes Arsenal fitness job

Olympic champion and avid Arsenal fan Mo Farah wants to work as fitness coach at the Emirates Stadium in the future.

Farah is arguably one of the greatest ever athletes Great Britain has produced and he managed to defend both his 5,000m and 10,000m titles at the 2016 Rio Olympics earlier this year.

Now 33, Farah looks set to be retiring from long distance running within the next few years and he has gone on to reveal that he would like to work as a fitness coach with his beloved football team Arsenal once he hangs up his spikes.

Farah told The Sunday Times Magazine: "One thing I really love is football and I have a good relationship with Arsenal.

"I started supporting them when I first came to Britain as a kid.

"I liked the way they played. They also had a lot of players from African backgrounds. One day, I'd love to be able to work for them, maybe as a fitness coach.

"I'm a big believer in what the body's capable of with proper training."
