UEFA still considering Rangers punishment

UEFA have not yet come to a ruling for Scottish powerhouse Rangers FC.

The Glasgow club is again in hot water with Europe's governing body and should today find out their fate following the Control and Disciplinary Committee hearing in Switzerland.

'Gers have been accused of signing sectarian chants during a Europa League game this season and now face having to play matches in next season's competition behind closed doors which would deny them of much-needed revenue.

Chief executive Martin Bain nor a club lawyer are allowed to be present at today's hearing as UEFA aim to come down hard on bigotry and racism from supporters.

Bain is adamant that his club is the subject of a witch hunt and has vowed to fully defend their name which has been sullied by these allegations.
