Udinese defender Andrea Dossena is amazed at his Italy call-up.

Dossena is in Roberto Donadoni's squad for Wednesday night's friendly against South Africa and said: "I didn't think there was any truth in it.

"I was told on Saturday afternoon that I may be included, but I didn't really believe it at first. Then the official call arrived and it was great. This is a beautiful and pleasing surprise for me."
