Udinese keeper Silvestri: Worst moment since I came here; I don't agree with some decisions here

Udinese goalkeeper Marco Silvestri says they're enduring the worst moment he's seen at the club.

Silvestri also admits he didn't agree with some of the transfer decisions made by management over the summer.

He told Udinese Tonight: "We trained well, obviously having some players out for the national teams complicates the job. We had a difficult friendly match, there is certainly pressure and we are well aware that the moment is not positive.

"But we have to be the ones to control it in the right way and take it as a stimulus. I've seen the coach calm, he believes in us and is convinced we will get out of this period. I didn't expect a start like this but analysing everything it can be true.

We have changed a lot by hiring young players with no experience in the Italian championship. The quality is there but it is unexpressed. Then it is clear that when you don't win you have that fear of making mistakes that affects you. Now we need a victory, even a bad one. It could change everything. It's the worst period since I've been here but it can be okay. I'm convinced that we will be able to change things."

Silvestri added: "I really like the city and the club. I don't agree with some of the things done this year but it's not up to me to comment on them. Now we have to take the situation into our own hands and we will. I only ask our fans to come to the stadium and support us because we need it."
