Udinese goalkeeper Silvestri: We'll be ready for Juventus

Udinese goalkeeper Marco Silvestri says they can build on their 1-1 draw with Empoli.

Silvestri felt Udinese would've been worthy winners over Empoli on Wednesday evening, but the second goal just didn't materialise in the end at Dacia Arena.

“We can't get away from the draw," he said. "It's a shame because we could've won the game. We haven't resumed with a victory, but we did turn in a great performance and the glass is half full in our eyes. Empoli are a good side that plays decent football. After the first goal, we managed the game well and created so much. It's just a shame we only scored once.

“In almost all the games that we haven't won, the performances have still been good," added Silvestri. “That was also the case tonight and we need to keep that up. The fact that I didn't have to many any saves means that we dominated and my team-mates managed the contest well."

The shotstopper also had time to look ahead to the showdown with Juventus on Saturday: “We're heading to Turin in a calm state to play our game in the way that we know and with the desire to win."
