Udinese goalkeeper Edoardo Piana says striker Ilija Nestorovski "is on fire" in preseason.

Nestorovski hit a hat-trick for victory over Ilirija earlier this week.

Piana said, “Nesto is on fire at the moment. He deserves it after all the hard work he's put in. He's proof that showing commitment always pays off."

Reflecting on his side's performance, the youngster thought it went well. “It was different from yesterday, but the coach Andrea Sottil was still happy with it.

"He tells us to keep up the pace and keep going."
