Udinese chief Pierpaolo Marino admits they're keen for Andrea Sottil to extend his stay.
The coach has a deal to the end of the season - though it carries a 12 month option.
Marino said, "To be honest, Sottil did a great job in the first year of Serie A.
"He knows the context, he is loved by everyone and there is total harmony with him. I don't see any reason why the club shouldn't exercise the option.
"The fans can be rest assured."
