Udinese chief Collavino 'proud' Jankto wanted by Chelsea, Arsenal

Udinese chief Franco Collavino insists there's no danger of losing midfielder Jakub Jankto next month.

The Czech Republic international is being linked with Chelsea and Arsenal this week.

But Collavino stated: "Once again we are forced to register a willingness on the part of some local press to destabilise the environment with unsubstantiated statements about the club and the players.

"I refer to the articles of today's Messaggero Veneto on a presumed 'Jankto sale'. I can assure you that there is no 'Jankto sale' in place. The player has recently signed a contract for the next five years with Udinese and there is no termination clause.

"That said, we cannot but be happy and proud of the fact that one of our young footballers, a talent that Udinese has contributed in a decisive way to bring to light, can arouse the interest of big clubs."
